Watching this video A year after you made it IF I am growing cherry tomatoes do I still need a 20 gallon container?brI'm in Florida on the east coast, Fort Pierce area Last year I used a 2"x2" PT stake, 6ft long and used velcro stripsbrto keep it growing vertically I had a great crop and about end of March/April the plants were petering out and I was going away so I pulled them out brThis yr I want to try my cherry tomatoes in containers; I really like the idea and I don't have to spend a lot of money on building raised beds Any further guidance is greatly appreciated Thx

I want at least one tomato this season In Florida, the plants keep getting burned! I'm pretty sure I'm using the wrong plants My pepper plants always produce, and they don't give a damn how hot it gets! Love the Goonies shirt, I want one yesterday!

I’m wondering if ground eggshells can give you calcium? I grind mine in the blender and use in the garden Someone told me one year my bell peppers needed calcium to fruit and I added that and they took right off

I am So TIRED of buying tasteless tomatoes at the store This was very informative, thank you!! I thought I'd try growing in a container, who knows, maybe I will graduate to growing vegetables in my backyard ground☺! I really didn't know anything about the soil additives that you mention, so the process is a little intimidating I was thinking all I needed to do was buy a starter plant, use some good potting soil, water and fertilize here and there with that blue powder you add to water(don't know if it's allowable to name it specifically lol) It may be too late this year here in NTX, it's been consistently over 100 degrees for the last month with a few daily breaks of 94-96 here and there

Those tasteless dry or soggy red things pretending to be tomatoes on sale in the shops? Yuck BUT, there are some amazing glass house ones they grow lots of in Australia which are very nice

I cannot walk out to my husbands raised beds in the back of our yard, due to a knee injury I tore my meniscus and the ACL My surgery is next week I am anticipating a long recovery So, I got a tomato plant last week and put it in a pot on the deck, but after watching your video, I see now that the pot is not the right size and I need to replace it I would love to be the one to win a 20 gallon fabric container to enable me to get plenty of the delicious cherry tomatoes that I just pick and eat from the vine I also use them in all sorts of recipes Having only one plant in the Grassroots 20 gallon container just outside my kitchen door would be the best blessing ever Thanks, happy gardening!

Would you consider grape tomatoes in the same category as cherry tomatoes as far as pruning is concerned? We use pots on our deck and have netting tied to a framework for support for our plants We use an automated drip system but still get some cracking Still, it’s better than letting them become sun dried tomatoes 😊

I grow a small garden in Lincoln, NE Last fall I made a I spaded all the shredded leaves, that I picked up with the mower, into the garden soil along with what ever compost I had left This spring I spaded the garden again, to better mix in the semi- rotten leaves I have a Bald Cypress in my yard that I started from seed It's "leaves" were included for the first time this year Now any area of the garden that received the BC leaves has stunted or even killed the plants Plants most affected are: spinach, Tatsoi, Yokatta-Na

Great videoagain 😂brI've mentioned before that I live on a tiny Mediterranean islandbut the locally grown tomatoes are honestly to die for Obviously I think mine are better 😂😂 but when in season, they so good I don't know if its variety, soil, water, weather or all combined, but they are the best store bought tomatoes I've tastedever!

I was given 3 heirloom tomato plants that look wonderful! One is a Brandywine My soil in TN is very heavy clay I am trying to grow them in large, 20" pots I became overwhelmed just choosing my soil!! I have Epsoma Organic potting mix for container gardening, FoxFarm Ocean Forrest, Miracle Grow organic raised bed soil and Black Kow manure! Can I mix some of all of the above?
