I bought my own home recently, and I’ve only been successful at growing cherry tomatoes, basil, other herbs, nothing larger I haven’t had much time to try yet though Will definitely try some of your tips in the future brbrI hope to actually create a full backyard garden next year Thanks for the tips! Awesome info To keep tomatoes blooming use Scotts’s Super Bloom Also, consider learning how to pollinate your blooms if you do not have bees or other pollinators

I have tried my best to get high yield from containers and seems like halfway through the plants just give up I use 40 gallon barrels cut down from car wash and put holes in the bottom to drain, I only use miricale grow potting soil and do not over water them, I used straw around the base and always trim the suckers Any more tips I’m missing?

What do you think about cloth containers? So far Ive only used them for bell peppers and they were pretty successful, I used 10 gallon

I just love home grown tomatoes! My parents always had some growing in the yard and it was my job to pick off the cut worms! My reward was getting to eat them right off the vine! I would eat them like apples My dad always was able to get them to grow like wildflowers, he never told me what his secret was but he did say they need water

Hello Farmer Dean, Nice to meet you I live in Virginia We are going to be planting tomatoes on the ground Have a good back yard now I did not do well with t😅Marie’s in the cloth bags They were rotten on the bottoms Even holes How should I prep ground for good Roma and Beefsteak tomatoes Our house has a greenhouse attached to the back of our house Big plus to start by seeds soon 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅
