Hey Guys, as always, a brill episode! I just wanted to say though that I don't think you really need to have click bait titles, people who follow diary of a CEO will listen to podcasts regardless and I'm just not a fan of titles that are really unrealistic and hyperbolic Maybe think about it? I'd really appreciate just standard titles that are genuine and accurate to the topic Thanks Comment from : Abii Birkett |

I think his dark side is wise when it's appropriately countered with love and grace We live in a fallen and decaying world Overall things will get worse over a next few hundred years Don't be foolish by having weak counsel about the world Comment from : These Truths |

About trauma, and lessons:brIf in any - ANY way I could erase trauma - I would! Without blinking Because un-traumatized people and animals have that bounce, that natural confidence that comes with having love, care, and knowing no harm Please do not, in any way minimize trauma because of "lessons" No Traumatized people traumatize others Comment from : Maria vako |

To Mathew : I have suffered for years with severe headaches with a specific pathway ,similar to what you demonstrated ,it is thru the ear canal at the back of the head and behind the eye PURE AGONY and very debilitating I stumbled upon a video talking about OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA It is basically pinched nerves One that radiates they the ear and one thru the occipital nerve behind the eye I prayed to God for help and I believe he led me I went on line to see if there was a pillow for OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA ON YOUTUBE There actually is such a pillow ,so I took a chance and ordered it It has a unique orthopaedic design that helps to align your head and shoulders properly IT HAS Eliminated 92 of the pain ( try DERILA pillow as well ) or just type in pillow for occipital neuralgia Please try this it is a miracle waiting to help you Thanks for the insights you shared 🇨🇦🌸 Comment from : Linda |

Great podcast, as usual 😊 but I can't help but ask the question about having confidence and approaching people, I think the fact that you brought 'looks' into it was quite incorrect/unfair Maybe I am misunderstanding the point (I hope I am) but we all need to understand there is no 'standard' of looks or standard 'good looking' person, so how do we define this? I can't help but mention I feel like even those we deem the most attractive people and assume they are confident and forthcoming which simply isn't true and is a terrible assumption for us to make I'm speaking from experience, I was seeing a woman for years who is literally one of the most beautiful looking people this world has produced She is the only one who disagrees, she has no confidence, does not see herself as attractive and becomes very beaten down and depressed from the constant assumption that she is attractive and confident The unfortunate outcome of this is she continues to strive to be beautiful looking to live up to the expectations and views people in general see in her Sorry for waffling but it's something I find incredibly interesting and also feel like it's not very well understood 😮 Comment from : Seán Eccles |

I have now listened to this particular podcast 3 times I would say that definitely means it is excellent!!! Comment from : C Bell |

Matthew just profoundly changed my life today I suffered a head injury 7 years ago and fibromyalgia is a main lasting side effect Actually a blessing because most people have debilitating changes after such a head trauma I've been white-knuckling it and feeling less than as I have learned how this condition would manifest in me Exposure to heat from walking out to my car in the St Louis Summers depletes all my strength And I feel weak and frustrated and have to rearrange my entire day sometimes into the whole weekbrbrI'm a self-improvement junkie also and of course perfectionist goes along with it I honestly never thought about the advantage of managing my stress RESPONSE Not until today Right time right place If Matthew hadn't opened up about his chronic pain, I would have continued the self loathing and embarrassment as you have to teach those around you what's going on sometimes brbrI followed Matthew for many years now and had no idea I'm pretty shocked But isn't that what we do? Tears of a ClownbrBut as of today I don't have to do that anymore Instead of reacting to it, I can actually do something about it It's obvious but it sure wasn't obvious to me Not about managing stress triggers What a great motivation to simplify my life Wow brbrI've been secondarily listening to this podcast for a long while this morning, just to mine relationship mostly Never expecting this Golden Nugget she dropped from heaven and land in my lap Radical Acceptance without frustration or self-deprecating comments Avoiding stress so I can be my best New Concepts to mebrbrI've been avoiding Heat and overexertion for a while because I know the impact But emotionally and mentally managing stressors just didn't really occurred to me At least not until todaybrbrA Heartfelt thank Wow So now this video is in MY permanent collection Thank you BOTH for giving me a new chance at a better life at 62 years old❤ wow Promise to pay it forward! Well done Matthew for a typically English view on taking responsibility for things - and acknowledging with balance - there are things that happen and it's not my fault So important to acknowledge that yes - some things are 'on us' and somethings are simply not our fault Ownership is not conflated with fault Comment from : JL Brain |

Love what he said about his emotion buttons I have the same experience he said about BJJ before I go to kickboxing I never want to go but I realized one day that even though I never wanna go I always have the best time and never regret going Seems like a weird phenomenon I usually take a nap right beforehand now so that when I wake up I'm not awake enough to think about the fact that I don't wanna go Idk why that works for me It's probably the lazy way out Comment from : Elizabeth Simon |
