@ 28:22 you have a point Steve my only opinion is that like my self some people just want to build a pc to strictly game and upgrade whenever they get the opportunity i just spent around $1230 for my first pc and I’m still missing a cpu and case so another $450-500 and that would bring me to a grand total of $1700 and mind you most parts I got them while they were on sale Compare that too a ps5 and that’s a huge difference I wouldn’t recommend anyone to build a pc if they only game but for me I had too go with higher parts to squeeze the most fps out of every part like a 12700k vs 12400 $150 difference and ddr4 ram 32gb DR 3600 mhz cl16 vs 16gb SR 3200 mhz cl16 $150 difference and buying a bigger cpu cooler extra $30 and this isn’t including the crazy gpu prices so idk it makes it hard for the average joe to come near a pc when you have so much parts that factor how much fps you’ll get out of your system but regardless to each there own and all that matters is too enjoy and get whatever is suitable for there needsbrbrEdit: I also forgot to mention that most games developers focus on console over pc due to more people play there games on console Comment from : Dulo Sensei |

I think the GPUs Steve tested performed fine at lower resolutions vs the PS5 but the same can't be said when playing at higher resolution modes None of the video cards I have available (1080 Ti, 2070 Super and Radeon VII) are able to match the PS5's performance in Assassin's Creed Valhalla or Cyberpunk 2077, for example DLSS comes to the rescue in Cyberpunk, thoughbrbrClearly both the PS5 and Series X offer much greater GPU power than the 1060 or 1070 Ti Comment from : bork |

I like consoles because its simple and plug and play I know how to build a pc, and I have a gaming pc that I built (but rarely use for gaming) But I work for home, and generally don't like playing games in the same place, on the same device that I've been working all day on brbrI like being able to stand up, move or just relax on the couch while I'm gaming That being said, I'm sure that the consoles will perform better once they're are current Gen exclusive games that can take advantage of all the current Gen processes and framework, without having to also be developed with last Gen framework processes in mind as well Comment from : Randy Lee |
