My dad is a helicopter pilot, and he took me and my brother for a ride once I remember looking down on the rivers and remembering this video, because that is exactly what they looked like You don't usually get to see that kind of stuff flying in a plane because of how high they go

I have something similar when I go river kayakinghow ever its again recently connected because of the water levelbrightside of this connecting again is that it's a safer route to kayak or to go tubing through since that area is now somewhat dangerous due to white water from fallen trees, its best to avoid it as much as you can

anyone actually wondering why rivers curve: the water moves faster on the wider edges causing the ground around it to erode, and expand that way, and as this happens, the smaller turn will fill back in with sediment being carried by the water as the it decreases speed there

For those curious, imagine going down a waterslide, think about how much more force you feel pushing towards the slide when you go around the corner compared to the straight parts When the water goes around the corner it pushes much harder across the far bank and so it carves out more of the ground
