im using a ps2 controller with my xbee car less expensive my question though is can i use a relay shield in place of a esc sense my motor shield doesnt allow enough power for the motor?

Hello, nice work therebrWhy not use a 433Mhz insted of the sheld Xbee?it's low cost and normally you should be able of getting much more rangebrregards

Interesting, that was the first thing i tried but nothing maybe its a bad controller (bought off of ebay for $10), I'm going to try a different controller tomorrow and hopefully it works Thanks btw for the respond

Nothing special to it you just use PS3getAnalogButton(L2 or R2) and do some very simple math and it's no different than the analog stick up/down

I've been trying to figure out the code to make the throttle and reverse to be controller by the triggers I've successfully coded the steering with the Left thumbstick and at the moment i have the right thumbstick to be the throttle (up) and reverse (down) I would like to have the throttle and reverse to be on L2 and R2 If you could help me out that would be appreciated No need to send me the entire code because that was your work, just the triggers marcoalan9@hotmailcom Thanks

I saw your parking lot video, this thing must be AWESOME to drive around Anyway, I was hoping you could help out a bit You have a usb dongle, and it seems to work flawlessly, but I read that some don't really work without drivers What do you have, and/or what should I look for in buying one A wireless PS3 controller is perfect for the robot arm I'm working on right now
