John what is your advice to polish the plexiglas windshield of my Beechcraft Bonanza? Over the last 12 years I’ve owned it the poor glass has been scratched with watch buckles, sunglasses, rings by people who though they were being nice I have a couple of different polishers I’ve purchased but haven’t had the balls to use I bought the 3 Novis 1, 2, 3 bottles of scratch remover but haven’t tried them yet either The plexiglas is now to the point it needs to be cared for There is no crazing from the Sun I keep it hangered most of its life brI also just discovered Clay for the paint and am using the Mothers system brTommy Comment from : tfankyt |

Hello Jon I’m considering using a one step (3D) cut and and polish compound, with a light cut pad using an adapter for my cordless drill I have a large truck,so I opted for the 7inch pads My question for you is, while I intend on only to heighten my weekend warrior level of skill, I’d like to know what you think about using a cordless drill for my cutting/polishing brThanks for any advice! Hi john can the machine using a waffle pad polish over decal and decal names on my coach without damaging the decal and do i need to slightly wet the waffle pad before starting the polishing? Comment from : Stuart Harrison |

I remember when there was only one polish worth using, turtle wax and it was in a glass bottle, you put it on a wet cloth rubbed it all over, let it dry and buffed it until it was shiny, there is a minefield of waxes, polishes, ceramics, and cutting agents now, too many, I feel as if they have reinvented the wheel and got it all mixed up, square instead of round, brI think these companies are taking advantage of people's lack of knowledge and selling them the Emperor's new clothes, vanity is very easy to exploit and these advertisers are experts at it, they tell you your car will be the best-looking if you give us your money and people fall for it every time, Comment from : SICKS6SIX |
