The right side looks more glossy due to the oils left on the paint from the polish In terms of the spider webbing, couldn't reliably tell the difference between the two sides Your pad is too soft, and the buffer is running a bit slow Seems like it's a 6" pad A 5" would give you more control, especially with that machine Many terrific pads on the market to choose from Nothing wrong with the polish you have and you do move the buffer at the proper pace Not knowing the paint system on your car, unfortunately, I can't make any direct suggestions as to pad/product combos FWIW, if I approached the car for the first time, I'd start with a 5" Rupes yellow pad/polish combo on a Rupes '15 and go from there Good luck Comment from : Felix F
