Fallout has been my favorite game ever since I tried fallout 3 a few years ago That's the only game I play currently I just upgraded my computer from a AMD A10 7890K to the new Ryzen 5 2400G I don't think I will upgrade my PC again anytime soon, so I am trying to get the best out of my current PC Upgrade I bought a GTX 1050TI for $170 dollar and returned it hoping to get something better I am thinking about the RX 580 which should run about $250 dollars at the moment any recommendations on buying a graphics card? to bad that my cpu isnt on here i just recently updated from a gtx 670 to a gtx 1080 the game wasnt running that well even on the lowest setting performance is much better now but its not what i hoped for even if i play on 1080p some parts like around sanctuary run a 60fps while the gpu ist at 60 on the other hand, downtown like cambridge, it drops to 28 fps even my old gtx670 could bring 28fps on lowest in that part of the game so my guess is the cpu iam running a i5 3550 but its "only" running at like 80 during the 28fps fiasco so iam currently think about getting a i5 8400 with 3000mhz ram in order to get this strait i really hate the cpu situation that we have for years now in some games, it doenst matter what you have 6 year old cpus make no difference to recent ones, on the other hand, you have cpu intense games that NO cpu on the market can handle Comment from : @dharkbizkit |

You know, you should at least try to disable v-sync and tell us how it went, more shuttering? How the game physics broke? Is game speed tied to fps? Limiting fps in your "should you upgrade" video is not really a good idea Also, you should also try to do it in the city next time, area near Good neighbor, Combat Zone, Trinity Tower, etc Many took a huge fps dip in that area even for players with high end rig, I've got like 1015 with my 960/G2358 @45 ghz in high setting, 1080p, TAA If you don't want to disable v-sync that area might be a good place for you to benchmark on Comment from : @GriggsHw |

with my i7 2600K at 45GHz, GTX 1070 and Witcher 3 at 1080p I saw the 2600K up to 90 CPU usage But for the most part it was much lower than that So even with a GTX 1070 and in 1080p it's still not a bottleneck At least in Witcher 3 Comment from : @larsenmats |
