What they don’t tell you when that account is closed, your score will drop and drop a lot of points I did this years ago and yes my score jumped high BUT when that individual closed that credit card, my score dropped significantly, I would not do it again, not worth it!

The tradline game is really sketchy Sometimes the AU's post on time , other times they dont Another thing to be mindful of is , the banks can shutdown the CC of the responsible party at any given time if they detect that Au abuse is occuring on the account (Dont ask me how I know )That means not only will the cardholders account be terminated, but if the person who was added to the card has an account with that same bank, their account can be closed as well I would definitely tread light with the AU's if you dont know whos account that you're being added to

Thank you for the info…I wish my grandmother had told me she was going to let a couple of her cards go because she did it affected my credit in the past few months and I was wondering whyand now I know why I was an authorized user on her accounts just to be able to help her because she is up there in age with getting things paid and questions answered if needed and noticed after she added me it boosted my account but again now that she had to let a few cards go because she is I’ll my credit has tanked bad But I love her and she didn’t know So I’m starting from the bottom Again ty for the info 🙌🏾
