Comment from : @user-cb2nf9qs5z |

Finally brand x won Comment from : @carlodelarosaManuelito |
thanks for a test Comment from : @StudioGraficoRotatori |
so spreador or the X are the best ways Comment from : @Alberto81 |
I did the cross x on my last build, it seems ok 😅 Comment from : @dashcharger24 |
so doesnt matter all the same Comment from : @awclewis |
Best video 👍 Good job I also use the X method Its the best Comment from : @pokerstars3731 |
I dissamble a lot of boards and I hate it when people using too much paste it's always a mess Comment from : @AncapDude |
Could anyone test a circle or a square, the perimeter only, that is likely to cause trapped air? Comment from : @azzinny |
Loved the test! Added your vid to a save Spreading is the best! Comment from : @Soulcommander |
Why would the 5 dot differ so much, makes no sence Usually the methods doesnt mather for temps(unless you do a super tiny dot) Just dont du wierd shapes like a circle that ca trap air in between The dot is failsafe for this but the x would hardly ever do that either Comment from : @rickardwestling8131 |
I always just an applicator and apply a very thin layer over the whole CPU making sure there are not pockets Putting a thin line always leaves the possibility of a small spot not being covered Comment from : @raymondturpin3265 |
X Comment from : @TelekiRamones |
30C is a VERY warm room for a thermal paste test That's likepeak summer without any air-conditioning or fans going Why? Comment from : @AviusL |
Bigger pea Comment from : @Cazimie |
the pressure is not strong enough (you had to reduce the size of the glass), the 1st method always covers 100 of my CPU, but on the video only 50 Comment from : @Ragga95 |
Successful screwed those who just looked at the thumbnail and not full fideo Comment from : @bobnugget3345 |
so it's depend on the pattern, not the amount? Comment from : @ayangjibrut |
The X is easy and effective Comment from : @seanjamesmacleod241 |
The X is the second best to spreading it evenly all over Comment from : @MGRracing |
This guy deserves a Nobel Comment from : @ksamarth0 |
you forgot the swastika method Comment from : @lorkh4nn |
Ive always used the X method but i still didnt use that many thermal paste tho Comment from : @christophpailliart9769 |
Great VideobrThanks Comment from : @abdulsalamsstyle9933 |
Nerds Comment from : @SensiiNips_ |
Hold on now why did you push the glass around to spread the paste only on the x? I bet the three line method would’ve worked just as good if not better if you did the same Comment from : @rod-von |
nice job editing Comment from : @ezecskornfan |
I use the five dot method, one on each corner and one in the middle, the corner ones should not be too close to the edge but rather more to the center allowing the heatsink to spread it to the edges Comment from : @felipemotorhead |
Con pasta dentrifica lleva 8 años mi ps3😂 Comment from : @CaneliTube |
Thank you, this information is actual for me! Thanks! Comment from : @andreysaff1786 |
Wow wasn't expecting the cross x to be tht satisfyingly perfect xD I generally would do the spreading method Comment from : @templet45 |

this video is a joke Comment from : @daniel71myway |
I always did the 5 dot method Never failed me Comment from : @xinzhao3755 |
I just built my dream PC last weekend and I did single blob method the difference of three or four degrees doesn't seem enough of a reason for me to go and undo it and reapply it so early Maybe in a while when I end up reapplying the paste I'll do the x method or something Comment from : @monkeyslaye |
The best video More fo thw comparation at the end Tks my friend Comment from : @pacificostriker |
So clearly the X or spreading the paste is the winner Comment from : @MaDGriZz78 |
❎👍 Comment from : @PC_TV-08 |
I guess you fingers are strong enough like a cooler is? Comment from : @gebah_afb |
The best video on this topic, thank you! I always use the spread method to remove excess, as a thick layer of thermal paste does not work as well as a thin layer Comment from : @torsion89 |
Thanks Comment from : @kritikyorumer |
Only spread Comment from : @cubick86 |
the problem with this is your not putting enough on especial the single dot brthere's also the pre spread method which 100 guarantees full coverage Comment from : @darkshadowsx5949 |
He kinda messed up the one point method by not putting enough Comment from : @niceengine2571 |
I will forgive you the clickbaiting picture you placed in the search list in this video - ONCE Comment from : @arturo295 |
Is that the” you tube”? Comment from : @SumPixelz |
That was satisfying, watched the whole thing Thanks 🙏🏻 Comment from : @SumPixelz |
I've been spreading TIM since day one guaranteeing 100 coverage Comment from : @DJaquithFL |
Comment from : @user-hw5wb3ud1w |
Is the pressure applied with your fingers the same as that applied when attaching the air cooler or water cooler? Comment from : @joaohbsantos |
When doing a one point I do a very large pea size smack center My builds spread across the entire cpu 3 times to perfection You know who got it right when (for air cooler) you can see the bluish hue barely creeping over the edge on all 4 sides Comment from : @DestinyGrind |
Comment from : @denjem1661 |
Nice!, thanks Comment from : @user-is9kc4le6y |

Very good video! Simple and very visual Comment from : @mario_smaf |
Do people really still believe in the "it'll spread out" lie? Comment from : @lanowyn |
what a waste of my time, can't believe this crap got over 13 million views FML lol Comment from : @zulakant |
Winter outside, but 30 C in the room? Comment from : @evgenyzak2035 |
You won't believe me when I will tell you that we just spread a thin layer of thermal paste on the whole processor with our fingers covered in a thin plastic bag Comment from : @gerferies |
My understanding is just cover the whole thing for 100 effective capacity! Comment from : @sonnydemichele4903 |
Spiral Comment from : @TurboLoveTrain |
5 degree would not make difference in performance or not? Comment from : @pinkoroponkopinko2379 |
I personally use the X Comment from : @EG-O |
Just in case anyone is wondering, I was curious and did a statistical analysis of the temperature data and found that there isn't any significant difference between any of the methods used in this video Just use which ever one you like and make sure it'll cover at least 2/3 of the CPU when it's spread out and you're good Comment from : @joshuamonroe6186 |
Coming from the automotive world and stepping into the pc world I literally pissed myself laughing when people would recommend anything other than the spread method, it's literally common sense Comment from : @matthewball5978 |
Looks like the room temp didn't change at all You need to add more thermal paste :) Comment from : @cow77cow |
I went for the X, first time i'm changing thermal paste, hope it'll work fine 👌🏼 Comment from : @captainz1721 |
Thanks for your video support helpfull sir 👌👌👌👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫 Comment from : @mummoorthy6511 |
Bagaimana cara agar speed cpu stabil seperti pada video anda? Comment from : @mauritsfernandez1525 |
I'm sad there wasn't a smiley face method :( Comment from : @KhalilCombs |
For people saying: "just add more paste to the single dot" If you add more paste on the single dot, the paste will spread in a round shape, which means in order to cover the whole square, some paste needs to surpass the edge The cross shape is the most logical way to cover the space of a square Comment from : @ltonos9557 |
10 year old build low cost gamming computer youtube/nr9sw3X8XR0 Comment from : @Ramansharma1 |
Thx 👍 Comment from : @traianrosoiu8577 |
5:03 the powerful X nothing wins Comment from : @6TeddyMc9 |
The one point had just a little less of thermal paste I've always used the one point, but u put just about a little bit more than what's in this video Comment from : @kuvyoghmoobamelica6883 |
Just slap loads on and spread it beforehandnever understood the whole dot here and there method other than trying to apply as little as possible and trying to save paste🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Comment from : @sonsofalchal |
This is test is so wrong you need a heatsink to know what pattern works best in transferring the heat Comment from : @kingscorpion8497 |
IT DOES NOT MATTER Comment from : @EmperorThePro |
In some cases, using the stock radiator from intel, that radiator does not touch the entire surface of the cpu, better said ihs, the corners remain untouched by the radiator Let's not forget that the processor chip is in the middle of the ihs plate, but amd now has 3 chips per processor Comment from : @laurentiuilina4992 |
Turned out more surface you cover, better results you get, what a surprise! Comment from : @Chibanah |
terimakasih banyak , ilmu yg bermanfaat bagi kami yang masih awam Comment from : @dhavanzaki1775 |

Was hoping to see a cross, but like also like a plus sign as well Comment from : @jjr007 |
