Should have elaborated on the optimus option If you're on a laptop you need that module of the driver or you will not be able to make use of your laptop's gpu

I had a problem after a driver update: my tv connected to my pc via hdmi stopped working (using it for movies etc as a "second screen") it just said no signal i tried everything, but no success luckily this method solved my problem, so thank you!

If I would run NVClean install only, wouldn't the "NVCleaninstall" and only choosing the minimal components, do the same thing as DDU does but in 1 application instead of 2?

I haven't done it like this, I just download the driver from nVidia like most of us I guess But I also didn't have ANY nVidia listed in TCPView? Did I do something wrong? Or maybe right? Maybe they're hiding svchost or something?brbrWhen I install nVidia, I don't use G-Force Experience (custom install ofc), I also skip the HD audio driver (I don't have audio in my display monitor), and I think there was one more thing I skip, I forgot I do install PhysX

Chris thanks for bringing this to our attention A few days ago I was pulling my hair out trying to re-install driver and Nvidia Control Panel for my EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 ti graphics card I had to go through the Microsoft Store to install Nvidia Control Panel Now, thanks to you, I can bypass Microsoft Store and get the driver direct You are awesomeThanks!

I've been decrappifying my drivers since forever because I always use budget computers without disk or memory to spare Even the core "driver" is giant now A thing I always remove is the extra languages for the control panel Some of the network connections communicate with other parts on Localhost because Experience is built upon the Chromium web browser instead of a native UI Everything is web and flat today PhysX is only for a few new games, and I prefer not to install the HDMI drivers to avoid having additional sound cards
