I tried desoldering my sensory bits because even with a different silver thingy and cleaning the black surface it didnt work But for soem reason once i swapped the old bits woth newer ones my right analogue stick stopped working randomly Even though i didnt even touch that

I already tried this doing on one of my controllers and yeah I def fucked it up cause it doesn’t turn on no matter what I did Also sony controllers (atleast in my case) had the most amount of stick drift issues compared to xbox Not a single Xbox controller I have ever had stick drift yet all my Sony controllers either run into some odd issues like ps button not working or basically all my controllers ended up getting stick drift brAnd I don’t get it with new consoles especially Sony still suffers from this issue atleast make it easier to change the stick modules but nah even that is so damn difficult and the process is risky I seriously regret getting playstation at this point

Save time and place the controller shell together (not screwing it tight) and test to make sure you're happy with the repair before closing it all back up tightly

I've been meaning to do this since i watched this video (a year ago) First attempt was a fail, i dont think i put the sensor back properly Tried again and no more drift! My other controller started to do it on the same stick in the same direction, so instead of spending 70$ yadda yadda yadda brbr(Edit: I mustve seen a different video the first time?)

Thank you! Cleaned some junk out of the compartment for the "Y Sensor", and now the stick works just fine! My DS4 is beat up in a few ways with a mix of new and old parts, but I'm hoping to get a few more years out of it

Actually all my PS4 controllers keep moving on their own, even the new ones just bought This happens when using on PS5 and Steam I even tried connecting it via USB to PS5 and still it moves on its ownsideways and upwards It wasn't like this when I first got my PS5 but they all started to go coocoo at the same time Strange times

Well I just did all of this which wasn’t too bad BUT sadly it didn’t fix the problem I wonder if the non-Sony controller will do the trick cuz I just ordered one However, you said parts could be purchased so I may give that a try Amazon accepts returns so why not Cheaper than new Sony controllers
