I think they will increase monero's reward in the future and keep inflation in 1 and avoid it to reach 0 because if reward reach zero miners stop protecting network (as btc will face this problem in 2030s because rewards will decrease)

I would argue that XMR holds its value better than BTC in a bear market/trend downturn The XMRBTC pair is almost inversely correlated to the BTCUSD pair

monero is mined on cpus by redesign gpus are penalized and asics are probably impossiblebrit is to ensure maximum decentralization of the mining networkbreveryone can mine monero, i could easily mine monero with my pcbri couldn't mine bitcoin however, even if i wanted to, as asics are hard to get and hellishly expensive

The point of monero is not to get rich, it is to do transaction that can not be traced It is an extension to Bitcoin Same go for bitcoin, the point of bitcoin is not to get rich it is to make a new monetary system that is more fair than the current one

8:27 the question doesn't make sense Why would you exchange a practical currency into another currency which doesn't have a practical use? brAlso: there were several inflation bugs on Bitcoin and they weren't found immediately just because the blockchain is transparentbrAnd another thing: Bitcoin fees are already high with mining rewards So they will grow a lot without them
