Dude please help me! I'm trying to power my rig at home with 2 corsair HX1200 PSUs for 2 days now Like another comment here I've tried the 24 pin splitter method and also the add2psu method Neither worked I'm going to try this method and hopefully things will go better I'm assuming you've done this to power additional GPUs Did you need to power the risers with your main PSU or did the PSU you've shorted power the extra GPU and risers okay? I've tried so many things and heard that the risers for the GPUs need to be powered by the main PSU but I don't have any spare 6 pin slots in there Comment from : Cerberus |

I tried to do this properly and ordered an ADD2PSU but the piece of crap doesn't work : Considering doing this now Think it's safe to run long term when mining? What will happen if power goes out and the main PC shuts down, technically the 2ndary power supply will keep feeding to your graphics card, could that be an issue? Comment from : PhnX |
