I'm making a glass lid for my aquarium I tried using different types of plexiglass, but it kept curling up around the corners So now I'm going to try using glass I need to cut out a notch for the water filter And I was wondering how the heck I'm going to do that This video helped immensely Thank you

This is a nice simple video of how to cut glass I had a go on a lid last year but it cracked I hesitated after that because it costs to replace I’ve just switched my internal filter for an external one and now the lid doesn’t fit since I installed the tubes I want to cut out a 90 degree angle on the right rear side I rang round a few local glass cutting services and most inform it’s a risk Not sure how to go about this If I get it wrong I lose the lid that fits the tank Any suggestions? Currently I’m just resting the lid on top of the tank with it overhanging
