Very interesting! You mentioned lime to increase ph Some of us have the opposite challenge, alkaline soil, and need to lower the ph Espoma does have an acidifier product for alkaline soil They also have hollytone for ongoing fertilization of our acid loving shrubs

Rabbit poop Wear gloves, in fact I double wrap when I collect it (wild rabbits) Crush it up to make a slurry and water it in, or just bury it when you plant High-nitrogen safe fertilizer, but I wouldn't use it in such a way that you splash it around

So the Bat Guano it's super high in Nitrogen so it should be great for leafy greens in the fall But question: if you mix Bat Guano in with MiracleGro (what I plant in), would be risking overfertilization? Just seems like a bit much

Never even heard of green sand So I have a weird container that I used last year that feels hard and compacted this year It didn't when I planted spinach in it Now it does and my spinach is doing ok but it doesn't hold water Not at all So my plant is going to die unless I find a way to loosen it Is green sand the way? Or gypsum?

I would love more info about one manure that you didn't include: rabbit manure Other people on their homesteads raise rabbits and while I keep them as pets instead of for meat purposes, they still produce a lot of manure that is high in nutrients since their diet is almost exclusively timothy hay
