Why do you never review hlg lights Are they that much better than the rest

My Viparspectra at full veg (100) and full bloom (100) produces 12,000K color temperature I see most folks say 5,500 to 6,500k is ideal for Veg and 2,700k for flower Now at 12,000k im predominately blue and offers much less red Will this help or hurt my seedling/veg cycle? I can see that if i left the light in full spectrum, i might not get enough red for flower But i can adjust the light at that time to focus more on the red spectrum when i get there brbrDoes anyone see any issues with doing it this way? This is my first grow an my seedling seems to be growing good without any obvious (to me) issues brbrDo i need more red during seedling/veg? brbrIs 12,000k too blue for seedling/veg?

I'm surprised the fluorescent didn't do as well as the Red/Blue led Red light is low energy, you won't get much growth Blue light is mixed with green the frequency green is reflected by plants - not used for photosynthesis Even so, it outperformed the white light

Awesome video! I just watched your video on lights and wish I had seen it a year ago I’m growing tomatoes in a grow tent and just not having any luck Last year I’m sure I overwatered and fed I have three T5 fluorescent ballasts and have been using a mix of blue, red, and white My electric usage has skyrocketed Im thinking to change to led lights in these ballasts (with the help of a licensed electrician What are your thoughts?

Wow this is a little complicated for me as a new grower but appreciate the infobrbrOne thing I was curious about was you mentioned infra red as a measurement of heat and it doesn't contribute to growth? I thought that heat was directly linked to growth, more heat up to a point, equals more growth or better use of light to grow Cold temps going the opposite way and stunting growthbrbrI'm a noob so forgive my noobyness if this is a dumb thing to say

It's all about scattered (photons traveling to many directions) and unscattered (photons traveling to mostly one direction) light The less scattered it is (hard light that gives hard/crisp shadows), the better/denser the growth, even with much lower wattage CFL's light is completely scattered, you can understand that by the soft/blurred shadows it makes

3:28 Green light almost as useful as red light??? Could you refer to some sort of science? All the charts of wavelenghts absorbed by green plants, that I've seen has a big dip in the green spectrum, so I find that claim dubious Thats why leaves are green; They reflect/reject green lights
