Unfortunately this did not fix my issue i bought a 3080 when they first released and i never had any issues up to this point I didn't use my pc for about 6 months and after i turned it it was working perfectly for a few days and i downloaded all the updates for Windows and drivers and i started getting frame drops in all games even in game like league of legends i have tried everything but nothing seems to work

Hi,brWhen i play a game my both intel and nvidia gpu works at same time (for example in dota2 with low video settings my intel gpu usage is around 8-10__nvidia around 30brmeanwhile i have low fps around 40-50)brI tried so many things like changing settings from nvidia panel and windows system settings (tried this video's solution as well),brAny idea how to fix it?!

My laptop spec : gtx1660ti max q, amd ryzen 3750h brHi just wanted to let you guys know i experienced this recently as well Tried like reinstall window 11 twice, reinstall all drivers, changing game setting window settings Nothing really improve a lot I played game like apex legend and csgo The gpu usage is like 50 to 60 sometimes 30 in csgo And u know what, I reinstall my windows 11 to windows 10 Follow the windows update to download drivers for window The only i did is install the nvidia drivers And now apex legend runs like 70-120fps high setting!!!!!!! Hope i can help you guys for struggling like me Will update in a week after i install more drivers

In rs6 my cpu is 10 and my gpu is 70brBut 6 months ago it was 70 CPU and 70 gpubrI haven't changed anything still on the same settings idk why it happened

It worked for me!! I was on 60-70fps and dropped down to 20-30 fps and now I am on 80 fps average and drops dow sometimes to 60fps thank you!

This really work!!! Better set it to 8192 or more if playing the latest games Also I'm not sure ssd makes more of a difference than hdd when increasing virtual memory

i have 16gb ram, idk if adding virtual memory could help butbrimma try this, i was so confused my cpu/gpu temp were normal and the loads arent even reach 75 but my game started to dropped fps 7-10 and the effect linger even after i close the game (15 minutes of wait/forced restart to fix it)brhope this works

increase ram on your pc pc tries to use hdd or ssd as ram when u dont have enough ram and that causes fps drops

This worked like magic- I use x-plane only and have an amazing system though when I installed a new GPU, what was once 34 fps fell to 4 fps I made the changes in this video - it blasted up though the roof to 46 fps, though after installing some plugins in X-plane - it went back to 4 fps Any idea what it could be?

If anyone's reading this comment Please don't do this paging file should be set to System Managed System managed basically means windows will set paging file according to your RAM capacity

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been told (and experienced) that this has a chance to crash certain games that require a higher amount of memory I personally have simply taken the numbers I put in, and doubled them This seems to have kept the fix, whilst also eliminating the problem with memory crashes Also, just know that I am not an expert on computer related issues I know that this worked for me and a ton of other people, but I can not help with you personalized problems

Sadly for me I don't think that's the problem I just play a lot of single core games That results in CPU caused frame drops and stuttering, with overall low CPU usage In those cases I cap to 60fps instead of aiming for high refresh rate That usually solves my problem
