The problem I have with all these survival products is their kind of gimmicky more than likely you already have a better item for much cheaper that makes a lot more sense than some of these For instance who the hell would carry a striker stone for making a fire when a bic lighter will last you about five years doing the same thing a lot easier a lot cheaper

For the shovel: I'd recommend getting a Swedish military KLAS shovelbrIt's just as durable, you can change the angle of the shovel head and you can replace the handle if need be (you won't ever have to) It's also more light-weight

I brought the Hultafors knife last month! I was after a 'Jack Pyke' Bushcraft knife but they were outta stock, was recommended this little beast :D £20 for a solid full-tang knife that's as sharp as they come great grip! The coating come off quite fast durin use but I keep mine WD40'd up when no used Best £20 I've spent this year

like the tarp with grommets two two or 3 could make a closed rent or teepee the cammo taep has a great look i could put in grommets in a tarp ggorilla tape & contact cement keep them from tearing

The Bear Flare is no longer available at Canadian Tire, so I'm assuming I'll have to try a hunting and camping store specifically (For our non-Canadian readers, Canadian Tire is like a car supply/service store, that also sells home appliances, hardware, hunting and fishing gear, patio, pool, and outdoors items, home decor, you name it)

4:52 walmart carries pine mountain storm proof matches that burn the exact same way as the titan match they are just smaller ive submerged them in mud and buckets of water fully and they kept burning ive gone so far as to try fire extinguishers and even sand and baking soda these matches just keep laughing The downsidethey have to be struck on the box like the titan matches and the striker strip can degrade quickly if it so much as gets damp rendering it useless with half the box of matches left so keep them in a dry bag

I’ve noticed preppers say it’s great to have solar panels, yes I agree but what sucks and worries me is charging cables and I’ve had some die or just stop working and it would absolutely change the fact you could use your devices or not, not sure if you have any coverage on this in any of your videos, can keep looking I absolutely love your videos and all your help and tips! brbrmy cable: I do have a 10 ft iphone charging cable that seems to have last for 4 years now, so maybe I should start there, it’s a braided nylon anker brand lightning cable for those interested!
