Ur right about the OLED screens but i perfer the design of the 2000, i don't mind LCD on a handheld, OLED also gets burn in My switch is OLED and i don't really see that much of a difference unless you look for it

I personally think that OLED Vita is way too overhyped It's dispay is oversaturated, suffering heavy from Mura effect, draws too much power resulting in only 3-4 hours of battery life brSlim is just way better Screen is solid LCD display even by today's standards, won't suffer from burn-ins Heavy duty plastic case – doesn't feel like a brittle piece of glass I'll afraid to leave home with Battery life of 5-7 hours, better shoulder buttons (yet still kinda bad tho 😏)br1000 model was my first Vita and after it 2000 felt like a huge improvement

I can't decide between them tbh I actually don't want OLED screen but slim has better battery (idc about ineral memory since I'ma buy second hand one with Micro SD) And is slimmer ofc But Still I feel like I want OLED screen since it's brighter and better

I slightly prefer the 2000 I love the neat colors you can get and constantly losing my cables because I have so many of them Being able to just go to the dollar store or Walmart and getting a micro USB cable and a higher amp charger is a lot more convenient than having to order the 1000 charger online brbrThe screen does look quite a bit better on the 1000 but they're both not really comparable to modern phone screens so it feels like a downgrade either way

batttery life is really the only advantage of the 2000brbrdesign wise both are inferior to the original PSP imo buttons are way too small and the fact that they click twice makes them really bad

I got the 1000 back in 2013 whwn its price dropped to 200 euros I tried to get my hands on the 2000 but pricing and customs messed up my chances However considering how much i have allready spent on this device over the years it was probably for the best I dont play it quite as much as most people on the community but it serves me well when when i need it

I have both i used to buy and sell many but for me i think is the 2000 better here is whybr1- battery is better a little bit but is count, tho i test it my self playing killzone the different was only 30 minutes but still 2000 winbr2- the screen in my opinion there is 3 kind of 2000 screens, i will explain why there is one tint yellow a little and another tint blue and another between both, and the best is the between but is a little harder to find is just luck, is so good that after using the plugin or the Edittor to fix the colors promise u it was better than 2 oled vitas i have why because there oled getting old and that in all 1000 vitas, and only one oled vita was better wish was good as new, wish is hard to findbr3- 2000 have no (GPU crash) it have but super less than 2000 i ask in many places u can say 90 1000 and only 10 2000 or even less most of the gpu crash is 1000 and people never speak about that in compare, but man that problem make the vita 2000 easy win for me, because u don't know when u will get a gpu crash, and i had it in 1 of my vita, if u get it is the end of the vita, i try everything u can't fix it, it will just die slowly and than u will have to buy new motherboard wish is expensive br4- (the repair) the 2000 analog stick is so easy to find and is so cheap compare to 1000, and believe me in one day u will get a problem with the analog, and u will get surprised of the different go see your self before buying the prices and compare br4- speakers is more better in 2000 than 1000br5- the usb charger on 2000 is another pointbrThis the my mine points, but from comfort who win, i think is up to the user to be honest i love the premium feeling of 1000 in same time i like the light wight of 2000 so i can say they both have a point here, but my advice to anyone looking to buy in 2022 get a 2000, u don't want the analog prices and u don't want the gpu crash problems in future because it will be harder and harder with time to fix or find parts, And man i love your YouTube channel keep up the good work man big respect to u, u make me love the vita more and more If u have any of the vitas right now just enjoy it 1000 or 2000 🤘

I'd have to say my PS Vita 2000 works just as well as a 1000 even after Jailbreaking and installing Vita graphics I can change the resolution make a crisper and look a lot nicer overall and just jailbreaking in general opens up so many doors

I also have both One thing I want to point out is that, as nice as the OLED screen is on the 1000, the display suffers "dirty OLED" issue ( Spotty stain-like artifacts across the entire display unit when there is no content and with only pure black) You will not notice it during actual gameplay, but it is something to keep in mind Good luck!

But to mod 1000 you'll need 4gb memory card as well, unlike 2000 as it has 1gb storage and if the proprietary cable damages at some point, you'll have to buy again and they aren't as cheap as micro usb cable Oled is beautiful but its best to buy the 2000 model, It's better in every way except the screen
