If the solar charger does not find the best voltge for the panel, it is NOT an mppt, which is by definition finding the optimal voltage

Well, don't expect the Chinese will improve the software, if someone feel useful and willing to reverse engineered a new one with all the feature you want, that's great And welcome to this kind of review or review and teaching how to use, I'm not totally dumb but not smart enough to find out all the features

One thing, the fw of the device have no support to updates The vendor don't provide the binary files

You used wrong case, USB communication PCB has to go inside, correct case has microusb cutout and mounting holesbrAlso I think I will have to design custom fan PCB so it uses temeprature control and adjusts the fan smoothly

Actually, The company who made DPS5005 also sell a very nice enclosure that comes with it Have all the cutouts and mounting post The 4mm post included is also one of the best I'v seen (I think it's the same one the eevblog have)
