men I buy one of those and put it a resistor to 32 to ground like others video clips and what happen was it blows something inside ,it hurt me because it was brand new first I put the jumper and the resistor and plug to the outlet and the light ,don't the start ,but the fans work , I take Out the resistor and star great but in 2 min blows inside the damage was done , Comment from : Daruma prb |

I'm surprised there's no comments about how ridiculously dangerous this is It's good that you covered the exposed leads at the end but the ones being sold at the link in the description seem like they have giant exposed leads 800W at 12V is more than enough to kill youbrbrYou should at least include a warning in your video, soldering those small wires is to work around a safety feature that is supposed to keep the 12V rail low while it's not plugged into the server Comment from : Pi erre |

Hello and thank you for posting this video II doubt I'm speaking for myself when I say that I am a visual person Following steps in a blog is a lot more difficult than pausing a video I do have a problem I hope you can help me with I have the exact same psu that I am working on Only differences are that mine is a Fujitsu brand and has one large fan on the end instead of 2 smaller ones My problem is when wired up the way you demonstrate I only get 5v output and my light, although is green, flashes instead of constantly on It acts as though the psu is happy, it's just missing a little something Any help would be greatly appreciated!
