So Rockstar has just announced new version of Red Dead Redemption coming to Switch and modern PlayStation consoles (NO PC?!) Awesome but expensive portbrIn other countries in Europe its 50€ and in my country it should be 48 CHF because our currency is higher valued than Euro but instead they charge us 65 CHF which is 68 Euros !!! In my country they charge 18€ more that is crazy 💀💀💀br(In USD it would be 74$)

The PS4 version is a port from the Xbox 360 versionbrbrBut the Xbox 360 version has better anti-aliasing and water surface than the PS3 version The PS3 has lower resolution, no MSAA and poor performance, as result the image clarity is even worse than the Xbox 360 version The resolution is quite low on PS3, also with additional shimmering, and it's more visible when you compare it to the PS5 port that supports 4K The shadows distance and quality also looks better on the PS4, same as the anisotropic filtering which now fully supports 16k and anti-aliasing that thanks to FSR2 the edges of the objects and the foliage appear smoother compared to PS3 and the Xbox versions And the light is now casted more realistically through foliage

it's confirmed as port especially since it also has to run on the switchbrbrthe xbox one version was the only version who really got a remaster automatically trough the console and it is cheaperbrbrthat's just lazy way for rockstar who want money againbrand it the port will done from a other studio like gta again people should have learned when it comes to rockstars re-release but no

I love rockstar games, I bought the gta definitive trilogy, but shit, rockstar is no longer what it was, ubisoft was already lynched for doing something like this and on top of that they claimed (rockstar) that the price (50dls) is correct

I was happy by the announcement because I bought it on my ps3 after playing RDR2 but I can't get it to work with HDMI but I don't think that I'll pay that much for that remastered version, it's not worth it (and I would have to start over) I paid 30 euros for the ps3 version
