@Gamefromscratch you said "full ECS" but I think it's not They mentioned it's only a hybrid ECS Right now only rendering and audio is available in "full ECS" mode (that is C# Jobs for Burst compiler), all other features required for most games (Input, Physics, Networking, etc) are not yet available (not to mention the non-existent ECS editor tools) and it looks like it's going to be a while before we are able to fully use ECS (I estimate not sooner than early 2020) Comment from : phobos2077 |
