I am having a similar issue with my huge Jade plant, I would really appreciate some help I don’t know if it’s an infection, I only have two plants inside my house the and a Christmas cactus We usually go South for the winter and these plants seem to thrive I usually really focus on my outside plants I really love my jade though, can you help me?

I just found my jade plant separate stem still in pot! It’s that big! Fingers crossed I couldn’t find any rot on mine Maybe a cat broke it cuz I didn’t want to think someone did on purpose

Informative video Sad to watch, but I'm happy your jade is now thriving as I saw in your update videos Do you have any idea what could have triggered the rot? I've been growing multiple jades for 10 years now with a lot of success Yesterday I was lucky enough to purchase a 45 year old jade plant It's in desperate need of a re-pot Do you suspect the soil and smaller pot could have caused rot? This is my worst fear

This is really helpful My jade is dropping branches too Question please: one can clearly see the darker rot areas of the cross sections you’re showing But there is also the center part of the stem that is just a different (lighter) color Is that normal or also part of the rot/problem? I see no dark areas inside my stems, but there is the center that’s different color like yours Should the inside of the stems be completely uniform? THANK YOU

This video was exactly what I was looking for, deep details about stem rot in jade plants I’m currently trying to last ditch effort save my coworker’s jade plants that had too many stressful events at once recently and rotted quite up the stem and lost most of it’s leaves before either of us realized what had actually happened (we were treating it for powdery mildew that it caught from a neighboring office plant) It gives me hope that I can maybe save them! I feel like my jade plants look worse than your so called rotting ones haha! But yea i have this feeling maybe they’d be happier in a sand based soil than a perlite based soil sometimes it seems to hold moisture in an odd way maybe, mine is just in soil i have a few from the mother plant from my gran when she passed, but this vid was a gem thank! I can possibly makes lots of cool plants tree looking things and give to friends to neaten things up and check the stems for rot in the process!
