Its a never ending loop of updates that fail for me when I press on my ps4 to get into the safety mode I even get that 2 sounds but instead of going into the safety mode I just go straight to the update

Try going to "initialize ps4" after you've gone back into safe mode I has this sameeeee problem, and that fixed it after the reinstallation and everything 💖

I have a PS4 slim and I've had it for 2 years and this last month and a month of August have been the worst for my system it's been crashing loading this terrible I have to reinstall software update everything and the option of safe mode and plus now it's overheating so I haven't been able to play anything for longer than 5 or 10 minutes

The fix I found for this issue was replacing the hard drive for a new one and reinstall the PlayStation software it’s running like new again now

I had this problem and fixed it by replacing the hard drive for anyone coming here looking for a solution I spent several hours the first day trying every suggested solution, but nothing worked I replaced the hard drive and now it’s good to go!

This is caused by two or three thingsbr1 Corrupted Updatebr2 Hard drive is going outbr3 Faulty powersupply causing updates installation to mess up sticking you in a boot loopbrbrThe best thing you can do is replace the hard drive and redownload the firmware update and hope it works

Found a solution I had this I'd get all the menu's options greyed out, except 7 I would do the full reinstallation, using a usb flashdisk, it would run the installation normally, but in the end, the console restarts and get back to the safe mode menu brI contacted playstation on twitter, by mail, and on reddit, even tried to phone them They never even tried to help me They only send me a copy-paste response with a link to the steps I already knowbrbrbrWhat I did is change the hard drive I formated a spare hard drive on my computer, plugged it on the ps4, and did everything i've done normally Except in the end of the installation, instead of going again into safe mode, it would take me to the normal ps4 menu, setting up date and time, and i was done
