Hi Scott I am sure you figured the SPI version out by now and my not even read this message but, the Arduino uses 5v IO ports and the TFT SPI uses 33v signals You have to create a voltage divider for the SPI data connections Also add the RST Pin #define if using the adafruit library Comment from : Jason Walker |

What was the exact board you were using for the SPI board? From the image around 5:44, it looks a lot like the board I just got from wwwpjrccom/ Assuming it is the same control chip (even if it is not the exact same board), it looks like you did not connect the "Reset" line and the docs for my board indicate that reset must be held high with a 33V signal I wonder if the issues ou had were because you left it floating (disconnected) Comment from : bitogre |
