I have been following along and have run into an issue I was just trying to use the drill on the ship for the first time I went to take off and very shortly after take off the ship would move uncontrollably in a random direction and I could not seem to control it and eventually the ship would end up on its roof and I could not flip it I checked that all engines (4 up, 0 down, 1 left, 1 right, 1 forward and 1 reverse) were set to on and had a toggle set up for reverse thrust at one point it seemed as if the up thrusters were constantly on and I had to manually go in and them off However it seems like the ship is now out of battery and even though thrusters turn on I cannot take off again Any help would be greatly appreciated Comment from : Sean Gross

I trued building this ship and it worked! Got some stone with it just to test it and was coming back to base with the backwards thruster off when I ran directly into my wind tower 😅 totalled the ship and am now building a new one with its scraps Comment from : Oliver Tydings

Sadly they appear to have broken this I cannot seem to place a normal cockpit onto the drop pod now, only a fighter cockpit, and it requires 10 metal grids :( Otherwise, awesome tutorial for a quite confusing game :) Comment from : BCUK Dannage

its cool how much these worlds vary I found lots of deposits of cobalt and Iron on my first day! also found a nickal one close to them in the opposite direction and not far away on a mountain slope found a silver deposit I still have not found any silica or magnesium deposits Also several ice lakes spread out in all directions After a lightning strike took out one of my precious wind turbines and I had to rebuild it and the structure tower and the lights on it, I built another tower with a decoy on it no way I was gonna let that happen again Several thunderstorms have past and so far nothing has been hit since Prospecting in this game is dangerous work Comment from : Sean Kingwell

So i know this is an old video but im hoping you still check the comments I have followed this guide, and have built myself the mining ship It works fine but somehow the camera in third person doesnt get very close to the vehicle, i tried the same way you zoom in and out on foot but it stays like 50 to 60 meters behind the crafy and doesnt zoom in more Is that just a console thing?im on ps4 and idk if there is a difference in those types of things I know that soem things are found in different places, like the g menu Hope you read this and know how i could fix this Great videos! I've recently just come back to Space Engineers, so I am re watching all these vids (at least it give me an opportunity to leave a like, in case I missed it first time) brI just got another quick tip, in the video Splitsie say's you can't double click the drill and keep it running whilst in the mining ship I don't know if this is a bug or feature, but if you are mining like Splitsie and have your drills set up the same, what you can do is left click (or right click, both work) and whilst it is spinning hit TAB or what ever key goes to your inventory, let go of your mouse and your drills will keep spinning even after leaving the inventory NOTE* They will stop when you hit either left or right click, whichever one you used to start the drills So it behaves exactly the same as your hand held drillbrThanks for the vid Splitsie Have a great day Comment from : Doc Quokka - Evil Genius MD
