Amazing! So I bought my ficus in 2020, and it did well for a while but never grew All of a sudden (6mos later) my leaves were drooping, the tiny sprout that never grew was curling up, and it had not grown a centimeter 🥲 I revisited this video took some action - 1 WEEK LATER all leaves are perky AND a new leaf is sprouting!!! Thank you!!! Comment from : Nicolle Velez |

would this plant thrive on a self watering container? brI'm buying one of these plants soon and the plan is:br- Lechuza self watering container, so it will be bottom watered by the wick system The pot will be much larger than what the plant needs, I'm counting on the plant growingbr- soil: 1/4 perlite, 3/4 home made compost (it doesn't compact like store bought one but it holds a lot more water)br- light : Sansi 24W LED Grow Light , 8h a day (fairly dark room) I can experiment with 12h a day alsobr- humidity in the room is about 50br- some slow release fertiliser in the soil (thought it won't need any fertiliser for 6months, the home made compost is very rich, it's even full of earth worms) Comment from : Red Moruga |

My plant is fairly new I've had it a few months It was very full & seemed to be doing well but suddenly leaves were falling off without first turning brown They showed no sign of stress until they just fell off, often several on the same day Somehow I got it to stop or slow down but there's been no growth at all for a while In fact I have three branches; each had a new leaf unfurling but all stayed stuck for months Fearing it would die, I tried to propagate using one leaf & one stem cutting - both failed What's left looks good though leggy & the leaf on one stem finally opened but I'm really worried because, clearly, the plant is not thriving & I haven't yet figured out what's going on Any suggestions? Hello fellow plant lovers I'm not sure if Christian will see this to answer since this video was made a while ago, but if anyone can offer any advice, that would be great Should I prune the tineke even if it doesn't have any leaves growing up the stem? Mine only has three leaves at the very top and its growth has slowed Thanks a tonne! Comment from : KeisiaRobin |

I just bought one of these from my grocery store and I was wondering if I need to change the soil it came in or just keep the soil as it is?? Comment from : Nina Natalive |

My ficus elastica ruby has downwards pointing leaves on the bottom half of the stem, and I'm likely slightly underwatering it😅 when new leaves come they are very red/pink, but it slowly fades to a light cream color, but the new baby leaves are always bright red when they come out Comment from : Malin Nilsen Sand |
