For such a beautiful game, I'm astonished how well it ran on my Steam Deck At the display's native 800p on medium it never fell below 60fps except for the occasional tiny autosave stutter Setting to 30fps also resulted in the handheld delivering an impressive 4hr battery life, nearly enough to play the entire game in one charge

You mentioned with the One X that the CPU is limited in retrieving the textures needed to render on screen, is this really a CPU issue or an issue with the mechanical drive found in the One X vs the SSDs found in the Series consoles? brbrI’d be curious if you ran this test again, but swapped the mechanical drive in the One X with a SSD The improved SATA speeds found in One X do take advantage of the increased efficiency of an SSDbrbrThis seems evident in running heavy games like RDR2 and Halo InfinitebrbrJust a thought

Wonder if the One X would benefit from running it off an SSD I do wish any further games that support it would target a single solid resolution (not 4K) up to 1440p It always seemed to run better in that ballpark due to it and the PS4s weak CPUs though the One X version of Jaguar is the best implementation possible for that chip

I play it on Steam Deck at a solid 60fps, which is pretty cool considering it's a handheld PC, running at 720p-800p Still looks amazing on a small screen I played the PS5 version, and even though I love cats (especially) mine I wasn't really blown away or anything by this title

The PS4 pro is underutilized in my opinionif one x can target 1728p at 40-60fpsthe pro could have target 1440p although maybe the fps could be all over the place at this resolution (if frame rate in unlocked)they could have included let's say 1080p 60 Or 1440 p 30 for the pro

I’d take Series S over One X Having a powerful GPU with a very weak CPU isn’t very good The One X is a great example of being CPU bound On the other hand the Series S has a powerful CPU compared to the GPU I’d take 1080p 60 over 4k 30

This isn't starfield but is(was) another console exclusive I like starfield because it is like the opposite It is xbox exclusive and AMD optimized I see it as a good thing, not everything needs to be NVIDIA/Playstation optimized first Although I hope starfield can later to PS5 as well so everyone can play it

Loved the game on PC and PS4 Pro / PS5 My daughter played it through multiple times Definitely worth the money if you're looking for a unique, immersive adventure I might end up getting it on the Xbox Series X myself, just because the kids get a bit picky about switching consoles during their playtime

This really shows how the Xbox One has shown its age much more than the PS4, Stray runs perfectly at 1080p/30fps on the base 2013 PS4 but struggles to maintain 30fps at a dynamic 900p on the Xbox One SbrbrOn the other hand, it shows how the Xbox One X was indeed a beast in terms of hardware specs, the game runs much better than on the PS4 Pro in every aspect and even runs better than the Xbox Series S in resolution and image quality but it loses in terms of performance due to its CPU, still, impressive for a 2017 console
