i wanted to get into oil paint and i made a mistake that i want people to know so that if they are interested, they can get into oil painting and not get discouraged when they make the same mistake that i madebrbrThin your paint to make it flow better, i thought that you had to thicken your paint to make it flow nice but you are supposed to thin it Use linseed oil or walnut oil to make it flow better

Acrylic painting just not good for me’ dry too fast and just don’t blend well like oil 🖼️ 🎨 painting’ the Pros out weight the Cons brI learned oil painting at 8 years old’ it’s better for me

Oil’s definitely are not for me but I so desperately want to do oil paintings much like John Howe and his wonderful lord of the rings paintings Except he uses water colour

So much talent in the world of canvas painter's and the competition out there are on a whole new level Be as original as possible and create your style and don't try to copy other's that'll only put you in neutral and you won't get ahead but start in high gear and work your way through each gear and keep going and don't stop

I do put oils over and under acrylics even water color and it turned out great but it can also be layerd there is no mistake in art and no rule
