Don't use buzz words but absolutely make sure you copy the words out of the job posting and include them in your resume 🤣 You know, you have to get past that applicant tracking software somehow Just sneak those keywords in there even if you've never done them

"copy and paste the job descriptionand identify the keywords that pop up most frequently and make sure to include them in a natural way" 🤣 If you're being given words that you MUST include, you're not doing anything in a natural way This is a tutorial on how to lie your way into a position, and based on how people so easily accept it, most are perfectly ok lying in some way to get the job they want

Candidates are supposed to be chosen based on merits, how does your physical appearance demonstrate you're a good fit for a job? If anything, you may be dooming yourself because you may not have those physical characteristics that so many companies seem to be focused on these days And not to mention the whole age thing, there is a reason companies stay away from that topic when interviewing, it can lead to potential discrimination cases Well by putting your pic on linkedin, you've just given them a very good idea of how old you are That is of course if you're being honest on linkedin and using a pic that was taken in the last decade which most are not

And measurable metrics? Not every role has them readily available; those are driven by leadership So if your company is behind and doesn't use them or use them well, what would one do? Let me guess, make some up because that sure seems to be the approach here And make sure to include those magic keywords, even if they're not applicable, have to have them in there to have a chance And keep is short, just make sure to include your linkedin profile so they can see the 500,000 words about why you're the greatest employee ever and the 50,000 people that support you

So all the people that work very hard at fluffing up their linkedin profile with lies and recommendations from random people are moving to the head of the recruiting line So lie through your teeth on linkedin and you will get the job of your dreams Sound advice

why a friend with field engineer title is not able to get field engineer positions even though qualification met and someone with technician title got the field engineer position easily and many interviews for field engineer position? it seems like if you have been doing field engineer job (even if the reason for leaving is laid off) they are not interested in you rather they want the person with technician title what would be the reason for leaving?
