Hello I am from London> United Kingdom via Australia Can someone explain Tipping to me Sure we have tipping in the aforementioned countries but it is not mandatory it is just a gift to the server for their good service From what I can get about the USA especially Las Vegas is that I need to tip for everything If I buy a drink at a bar I have to tip the barperson If a waiter or Waitress takes my order In a restaurant I have to give them a tip If someone brings me water for my meal in a restaurant I have to give them a tip When I check into my hotel I have to give the receptionist a tip Please give a guide to the non-Americans on this tipping business If someone compliments me on my clothes in the street do I need to give them a tip?

I've lived in las vegas since 2014, everytime someone asks me of what I should look out for I keep it simple stay out of the strip hotels, don't interact with any of the peddlers on the strip, eat at the local mom and pop restaurants, don't get the cabs, stay out of the clubs, if your gonna gamble hit the penny slots, stay at an air bnb or at a hotel/motel away from the strip( boulder highway, henderson, ect), if those timeshare fuckers talk to you, get the gifts in advance before you do anything, always verify your bill, keep your wallet safe, and never use your debit card

We walked right into the timeshare scam They had a booth out in front of Monte Carlo that said Directions and Information We were going to ask how far it was to Treasure Island Next thing we know, we're in a timeshare sales pitch Learned our lesson They are aggressive too!!
