most bad colors that i see are from Nikon cameras Both my Sony and Canon have great colors

I tried everything Cobalt also sucks, not as bad as defaults but still no cigar I created my own profiles shooting Nikon and Sony side by side and painstakingly tweaking every HSL and profile slider You can get close enough to get satisfactory results, but as soon as the lighting changes you have to do it all over again No universal preset is possible Not worth it I'm just staying with Nikon and adapting my Sony lenses

X-Rite Color Passport Photo creates custom profiles for the Sony cameras and is brilliant, plus you can make them for any environment, combine this with proper white balancing and the colors are perfect

Hey Dani, I have a great idea for you! Have you ever tried the Adobe DNG maker? You can literally build your own color profiles from scratch to your liking The sky is the limit This will open up new doors to your editing You can also build profiles and sell them brbrI’ve been using them to build profiles for a decade You have the model hold a color checker under her face, in profile maker, you go to each color and tweak to your taste It is a lot more complex, but this is the master way of doing it This is also how Cobalt does it brbrHope this helps!

For most of my 70 years on Earth I've been extremely critical on color My folks bought our first color TV in 1967 and I used to drive them crazy with constantly adjusting color Not just the basic color controls on the front of the set No, I was behind the set using the service controls, even going so far as to open up the set to adjust the yoke on the CRT But every time we had a visitor come over they would comment on how great the picture was on our TV Jump ahead to college and my first color printing class The teacher, Arthur Taussig, a highly knowledgeable photographer chose me to assist him in the lab telling the other students what filter packs they needed Jump ahead again to the '90s and the pro camera store I managed I got to use all the REALLY expensive digital cameras, ones costing $40,000 or more Jump ahead to buying Canon digital and not being at all happy with their magenta skin tones (nor the yellow ones they have now) and doing some critical testing with all the various manufacturer cameras, something most people never have a chance to do I settled on Nikon strictly on the quality of their skin tonesbrbrBut, now I shoot mostly with Sony, because I think they have good color, maybe not the same as Nikon, but pleasing Plus, when I'm really critical on color I use the X-Rite Color Passport and create my own Develop presets I'll also use Sony's own RAW developer, or Nikon's Both give better results than Adobe's built-in system Capture One also does a better job on getting the out of the camera color correct rather than Adobe I used to love Capture One 10 years ago, I wrote a review of it that Phase One quoted in their ads and posted on their site, but nowadays it's become a hair pulling experience using it I can't even get past importing a small 74,000 image collection taking over a day to import using Intel 10th Gen or Apple M1 processors and current SSD's Lightroom does it while I go out for lunch

But, it's still not Canon colors Ya need Canon I'm teasing! I actually have Sony in full-frame and APS-C, Canon in both, and an older Nikon D300 on the way to go with some lenses I still had from my D90 I looked at Cobalt before My problem is I would have to get Basic packs for different cameras and systems For those who shoot a single body and need the extra, quick dial-in I could see it though

If you are good with color you can do this with the Camera Calibration Tab in LR or ACR the only down side to that is that it will take some time to figur out what Camera Calibration setting are best for your camera 🤙🤓👌

You don't need to buy anything, just balance the colours in calibration profiles at the bottom of the controls in LR classic

Hmm Im seeing greenish/blue hue after preset on my iPhone and Eizo Quick plug, this would never happen with Canon unless their was a color cast coming from the surrounding ambient light Could that be the problem in this case, or is this showing up on all your photos? Cause so far, your work looks nice since getting A1
