@elQuestionare
8:20 which glue do u use?
Comment from : @elQuestionare

@Garry-Stewart
Dont put to much glue, thin glue will make heat transfer fast

I have the same model and my reaches 40-42 C gpu/cpu on idle xD Looking for best way to improve my cooling tho because on trackmanina 2020 on reasonable settings it reaches like 86 C on gpu One longer heatpipe would make better difference With this two you still transfer heat to the place whare turbine can't collect it

@AutodidactEngineer
I know this is old but honestly I would have made the back of the laptop out of aluminium entirely also adding an aditional 15cm of thickness to acomodate for another heatsink and fanbrI am not high I promise 🤞

@kenz8087
Is it possible to remove dvd driver and add another fan ?
Comment from : @kenz8087

@MatiasBoni55
Hey, I love your video I was thinking that you can replace the DVD reader, and add another fan I have done it and leave a lot of space With the tips of your video, I will do something like what you did adding the heat pipes
Comment from : @MatiasBoni55

@jacylight1610
it seems to me that the cooler pc clocks speeds are also lower lol could that be the reason its running cooler
Comment from : @jacylight1610

@AmitSingh-ku3ug
The best idea is to remove cd/DVD drive and at that place install heatsink along with heat pipe brI have done it and it works fantastic brTemperature drop drastically At full load cpu temperature peaks at around 75-80cbrNowadays CD/DVD drive are useless

@c0r5e
Did u use glue or thermal paste on the heatpipes ?
Comment from : @c0r5e

@cliragt
I am thinking doing the same, I would also tru to add to the m2 memory and as well to the ram
Comment from : @cliragt

@HiddenAgenda2012
the heat pipes will only radiate out a little extra heat in the way he placed themif he could add another small heatsink and extraction fan he would have seen a lot more cooling, a good move is to place a pipe on top of the original pipework to the top of the fan casing, the fan casing is being cooled by the fan so it acts very well in losing heat, thats as long as the top of the fan is metal of coursei may also add a small inlet fan to my laptop(asus tuf fx 705dt)
Comment from : @HiddenAgenda2012

@idk-wx2zx
If i do this, will it void my laptop's warranty? I live in the US
Comment from : @idk-wx2zx

@daylightriot5671
great video mate just bought a heatpipe for my own laptop ive gotta ask though, why didnt you put heatsinks on the vrm's and why no liquid metal? works great with that copper coldplate you got
Comment from : @daylightriot5671

@jasonng5194

What adhesive are you using my dear sir

@gismo3564
I wanna start off by saying nice work and congratulations on the results 🙂brbrHowever I think you would have been better off only using heatsink and no extra heatpibe brbrMy reasoning for this is, that although the heatpibes transfer heat very well, they aren't particularly good at dissipating heat, not much surface area or even mass And since they don't reach the fins at the end, the original heatpibes end up transferring pretty much all the heat to the heatsink You would have been able to put fins down the original heatpibe, thereby increasing surface area brbrI could be wrong, and it's just a thought
Comment from : @gismo3564

@diyroby732
Thank you for this video It was one of my inspirations for upgrading my laptop from single to dual heat pipes Now I can run my i7 4700mq at 32GHz all cores and stay under 90C for long video renders, before anything over 27GHz would take me to over 96C in under a minute
Comment from : @diyroby732

@probryan2123
can you do a video for the gl502vm?
Comment from : @probryan2123

@akshayvanil9342
Does it work?
