I did something like this Electric leaf blower with the tip stuck in the hole In a metal bowl I started a fire next to the air intake of the blower Blower sucked in smoke and pushed it thru the holes As I saw smoke come up from holes i slightly covered them Once its was clear smoke made it in good, I covered all the holes with a rock to hold the smoke in a long as I could

Dry ice pellets in all the holes and lay a weighted tarp over all of them? Carbon dioxide is heavier than air Should only take 10 minutes of work and an hour of watching with a few cold drinks

I tossed firecrackers by the dozen into the 100 or so holes on our back acre I was pretty sure it wouldn't do anything, but it sure felt good And, I felt cool walking around like Rambo with a 1,000pk of firecrackers wrapped around my neck and a torch :)

Best way, try it 2 parts muriatic acid, 1 part bleach Pour it into hole and cover hole with brick DO NOT breath the fumes Ever hear of chlorine gas? This mixture also kills kudzu and every living critter under it
