The reason you had trouble at the end was because you needed more segments Also, I am surprised you make a video about clean topology, yet don't mention non-manifold geometry This is super low level stuff, you don't have to make a 20 minute video for it Keep it short and good luck!

With your cube and you beveled the edges of the hole, a tutor I once had showed turning off chamfer gives the supporting edges it's a handy little trick that makes applying holding edges so much quicker in many scenarios Anyway hope you are keeping well and loving the content

I understand why you put bevels on the supporting edges, to keep the shape What is the point of adding the edge loops in the middle of faces, isn't that extra topology that isn't used?
