This video by far makes more sense than any other video I've seen on YouTube about explaining muscle-ups I have a pull-up bar in my backyard, I got excited and walked out during this video to try this technique It's HARD af 😂 You make it look easy But I will surely keep trying I'm 48 and just got back from the gym Maybe after I recover I'd do a better job

When I see people do a clean muscle up, it looks to me like they’re doing a pullover, but with their own body weight I not currently training to do a muscle up yet, but I think doing pullovers may help get that fluid motion

I always lifted myself to the middle point naturally when I was doing my own kind of explosive pull ups Bringing my body close to the bad with he chest over might be the link I'm missing, I'll train the transition Also, I'm kind of noob, doing 4-7 pullups atm, 40 per session

I did my first muscle up today, and it was purely fueled by anger! So that worked for meif anyone is struggle with doing a muscle up try doing it when you are really pissed off!!! But i immediately felt better aftwrwards so I only did about three lol😅

What I get is that between the explosive pull-up and dip, there's a pull-over connecting them, the pullover is immediately followed by dip so you need a strong tricep strength to be able to do it

I have been working on all the usual prep work for a muscle-up (pull-ups, chest-to-bar pull-ups, dips, etc) for the past 10 months And still I could barely do one cranky muscle-up After practicing the exercise shown in this video for just 2 days, I have done 3 muscle-ups in a row!
