I built my own grow racks, I use T5 24" fixture 4 tubes I replace the florescent tubes with T5 LED grow light tubes, the lights seem brighter, the balast is for 8000 lumens

II have not seen an answer to my emails from Gardener's supply and they don't sell bulbs to go in the clamp light fixture Can you alleviate my concerns? I'm concerned I will not be able to find the full spectrum grow light bulb that will fit in the threaded socket I'm also concerned that it will not be enough light for my plants I have a succulent plant bowl that is about 16" with 5 succulents and cactus

I'm in NE US and I was afraid my plants wouldn't make it through the winter if I waited to repot them I also realize they need more sunlight than their normal resting place can provide I've been moving them from area to area throughout the day to get them the light they need They love it, but the lamp will definitely help

Plain shop lights are often better than a lot of the smaller grow lights While "grow lights" may technically put out a better spectrum, the ones marketed towards legal gardeners for seed-starting are WAY too under-powered You can get as picky as you want about the quality of the spectrum, but with light QUANTITY is important Two cool white shop lights side-by-side would seriously outperform the countertop system

this is basically just an advertisement video with a lot of specs we didn't get to see how well the plants grow with each light, how to put a grow light on your own shelf if you had to adjust watering since you took a plant from the window to the grow light you also didn't mention the led lights, good or bad, that would have been interesting to hear a gardener compare both
