This is not correct there is no egg implantation inside the host, only a mutagenic fluid that craters a tumor made with the host own cells that become de chestbuster

a short cutscene in the first film totally change this cycle This scene shows alien doesn t need queen for making eggs They transform alive and dead humans into eggs In my opinion, it makes this creature more dangerous and i don t really like the queen version, it s not very logic and xenomorph lost a part of his horror because with this queen, aliens looks like bugs but in the first film the alien looks like something we never see before

Fun fact: if a facehugger is hatched and is unable to find a host in a limited time, a chest burster will come out of them instead, said offspring will be exiled from the hive because of it's genetic impurities

Ok but what about a Queen alien what determines or makes the Alien a Queen? In Alien 3 Ripley somehow knew she was carrying a Queen alien but i dont think they ever explained how she knew and in Alien Resurrection it was proven she was right bc when they cloned Ripley the Alien they extracted from her was in fact a Queen brbrFurthermore in Aliens we learn the colony was taken over by the Aliens but what about the ship? Was it ever explained if there was a living Queen Alien on that ship with all the eggs from the first movie? Apparently there was some kind of barrier or light that kept the eggs in stasis so to speak but the one egg was sparked to life when Kane from the first movie got to close to it but did it ever explain what laid all those eggs in that ship, did these new prequel movies, Prometheus or Covenant ever explain that? Bc the Queen Alien from the 2nd movie, it was highly instigated that she came from the colonists who checked out the alien Ship when Burke gave the order to check it out after hearing Ripleys story of her encounter with it However in the first movie the alien was not a Queen but Im just wondering if after a certain amount of time an Alien Xenomorph will become a Queen if there is no other Queen or something?

Depending on the source material the movies and games/comics differ AvP: Extinction there are warriors which become praetorians or ravagers and there are drones which become queens or carriers (There's also a Predqueen, don't know how that happens)brbrIn the 2010 AvP game, warriors were all females that could become queens and males were all PraetoriansbrbrSome sources also go warrior->praetorian->queen, with the warrior also acting as a dronebrbrIn the movies it's just warriors/drones and a queen with a queen facehugger that implants a new queen embryo into Ripley (The Runner or dog alien I believe is to be a type of drone, also in AvP: Extinction)brbrThe comics have queens, kings and empresses
