i just finished a sweater no18 using drops alaska (it was a stashbuster too) which is i think even thicker than drops nepal and its so so so heavy lol

I do not like it when continental knitting snobs, suggest for English knitters to switch styles Im an English knitter, but can knit continental I prefer English I have arthritis in my left hand So its uncomfortable for me to knit continental for very long Said all that to say who caresjust enjoy your craft and endorse your knits and knitting style Your sweaters are beautiful!

Have you tried the yarn shop in Ely? It's a nice day out from Cambridge and they stock basically everything Rowan sells, plus a lot of yorkshire spinners hanks and some nice sock yarn The bookshop there also has some nice knitting books if you can successfully navigate the floors :)
