an update i just modified the power supply you are right just clip the 2 jumpers and remove the screw to isolate but with a twistbrbrinstead of putting paper and hot glue i used another screw and ripped the stud from the case through the back of the power supply case and using a nylon riser and screw i placed a nylon hexagon riser stud under the corner of the board and used a nylon screw to hold the hexagon stud in placebrbrnylon is a form of plastic and plastic DOES NOT CONDUCT ELECTRIC so nylon screws work perfect for insulationbrbrthe same electrical warnings still applybrbronce you unplug the power supply make sure to wait a minute for the capacitors to discharge before opening up the power supply and using multi meter test the heat sinks to ground and each other before going any further to be safe Comment from : @ejonesss |

Hi Tony, i just got a ISDT 20 charger, max input current 35A, charge current 02 to 20A X2, max charge power, 500W X2 I'm going to use x2 DPS-1200W FBA 100Amp PSU's to power it There are some differences from the PSU'S you show in your video but that's not a problem Would you kindly help with a couple of questions?brIs there a way of discharging the capacitors to make them safe? Also, considering the ones I'm using have more power, what jumper wire should I use to link them, AWG 10 or 8? Final question, I have very little knowledge of these things so please forgive me if this is a stupid question! I assume the charger will only pull the current it needs and it uses an XT60 input so will AWG 12 gauge be adequate to connect to the charger? Comment from : @richardpowellTV |
