Powering up and turning off in a short time was how my EVGA 1050 P2 acted after it was run beyond it's limits 6 1050's plus the Octominer board may have burnt your 500w PSU Comment from : Flight Deck HD |

Brandon How are you powering the 1080? The breakout board looked like it only had 6 pin ports, but most 1080 have 8 pin Also if cables are your problem, you can order custom cables from cablemodcom They make cables for your specific psu Mixing and matching cables from different psu manufacture is not advised Comment from : VillageCity |
brandon most computer psus work at the best on 60-70 load while the server psus work at the best at 75-80 load and they will have a longevity over 3-4 years dont push the load higher than those values or u will have psu's exploting on ur face Comment from : Pablo Ocampo |
Whats the Model for those MOBO with issues? I notice the CPU fan didnt even fully spin when you tried to boot that MOBO Looks like a short as stated below, try resetting the bios Also are those shoe rack plastic non conductive or metal? Just wonder if the solder under the MOBO dug itself into the shoe rack and caused it to short out Hopefully those MOBO are still good and isnt fried Also any error light on the MOBO that you can see? Comment from : N355 L33 |
Last thing! Try remove the power button power the board with screw drive or another power button! I got a pc a long time ago with the same problem Comment from : Eduardo Oliveira |

I have a similar problem with my daily rig Damn board just wont deliver juice to the CPU or Pcie slots After trying different power supplies, I'm left with the opinion that the board simply ate the taco of death If you find another possible solution, please let us know I'm enjoying your content man, keep it up! :) Comment from : E Hole |

Remove the CMOS battery and change the reset jumper on the next level and try powering the system for 20-30 second , hold the power button to clear the bios , and the put it back normally , hopefully will work Comment from : kosmos kay |
I had the same issue with my boards mate I ended up cleaning and replacing the ram All worked after that But as it is an old board the battery may need replacing too With all these costs is it better just to get another board? Comment from : Beard3dBogan |
Problem sounds like polarity issue reversed cable or buggered cable on one of them will cause psu to spin down right away EVGA uses different pin layout on modular cables Use the original EVGA cables Unplug every modular cable apart from 24 pin and the CPU it will power I had same issue with thermal take power supply Comment from : Adam Summers |
both boards not powering up with the same power supply? issue could be either you have two bad power supplies, or could it be the amount of power you trying to pull from the house circuit? Try a different wall power socket in the house that is on a different circuit Comment from : OnePhat Miner |
I'm pretty sure the 5 POST beeps mean no keyboard detected Try plugging in a keyboard and rebooting Comment from : MewsicalMiqo |
Try pulling the ram out and putting it back in only use 1 stick If it works add more ram as needed If it does not work try a different stick of ram If that doesn't work try putting the ram in a different slot Also pull you CPU heat sink The thermal past may be bad after running so much And please dust it off Hope this helps good luck Comment from : Daniel Thomas |
Disconnect everything, even this small wifi, change the power outlet and power cable you are using, and sometimes that speakers (4 pins plug at mobo) got fucked, so disconnect this too! Swap memory, check clear cmos, for last short circuit, put something under this mobo please, and cat fur can cause short, so clean the board Comment from : Eduardo Oliveira |
Try checking your power cords from your ATX power supply If you have bronze certified cables plugged into gold or vice versa or type 4 in the gold or it might just be a bad cable But always make sure it's the correct cable with the correct power supply Comment from : Meshed Up 3D |

Got a shipment confirmation for some RX580's I place months ago You know, back when they were cheap, I was quoted $250 per unit I was emailed and was told they were on back order and they had to cancel my order Forgot all about that order until today when I got a shipment confirmation email Wanna take a guess at how much they charged me for each unit? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't under $500 Makes me think they are taking advantage of these "back orders" placed months ago to reap profits on high GPU prices So, here's my tip, don't shop at CDW com Comment from : DigitalMiningSolutions |
anything under that MB? looks like it will short on metal rods Comment from : Peter Ellens |

Ram might be bad Comment from : Moody Farhoud |
