Very nice video series Was quite worried about the outcome half way through when you turned the large section into a jin but turned out beautifully Only issue with the new angle in my opinion is the jin from the lower branch pointing down almost into the soil Maybe you can hollow that out in the long term But wow what an improvement, well done!

Random question: my neighbor has removed a maple from his yard, and has dug up the entire rootball The stump is about 2ft long and about 7in across Is it possible to prep and pot something so big? Percentage of success? comments/advice much appreciated

Hey Ben, I was hoping to contact you through your website form, but I got an error saying that it's a demo form! br brAnyways I just moved to Ohio from Seattle for graduate school and am acquainting myself with bonsai in the region In Seattle I had pretty good success with the "late summer" collection window once temperatures cool off but BEFORE the trees were fully dormant Is this window possible for collecting yamadori around the midwest and Appalachia too, or should I just wait until spring? My concern is mainly that Seattle winters were much milder than I'll experience in Ohio, and my budget for protection/heating is not very high, so I wonder if I can expect similar success or not

Left us wanting more but great content since I’m in Florida I have these very little crape myrtles and I have a ginkgo witch I love I have and avocado lol even and some apples bonsai I grew from seed ppl say they don’t survive but there super vigorous idk how but can’t wait to learn pines there a little intimidating for me lol but I want them so bad
