The new waypoints (keyframes) might make the controller worth having to fly a bit easier than from the phone, but otherwise I think it adds very little for a pretty hefty cost

I just ordered controller for my Skydio 2 dronebrbrI got this to extend the range of the drone- as this has been tough using my phone and getting limited range and not saving my video footage brbrOne question - with the drone being farther away w the added distance from controller - will I be able to press the vortex, orbit, etc and access the camera from my phone still?? Was concerned b/c without the remote, the drone doesn’t go very far b**And I want to be able to control the shots w my phone while it is out at longer ranges **/bbrbrHope that makes sense

Steve i have one question, when using the controller w/phone are the obstacle sensors active Because @ 13:02 you stated that you didn't want to hit the bldg so if the sensors are on and working this thing would or should never fly into something like that

I just got mine Haven't flown it yet I have all 3 options And I think I will use all 3 The phone option looks good for a quickie flight close by The beacon will be used for my off-roading (dual sport bike and UTV) And the controller to me is a must have for general videography Can't go to MOAB without videoing the surroundingsThis was very informative!! Great video!!
