Im so late but this game is fricking amazing! The theme, animations, ost, and gameplay are all awesome This easily became one of my favorite games of all time I hope platinum games make like a shinobi game with similar combat animations

Its been a year since I touched this Still stuck in B, was in C til I accidentally overwrote the saves Was stuck in beginning of C anyway due to retarded difficulty spike and how unfair those enemies by spamming jam waves on me I probably didn't even get to the actual story but if its gonna take my precious time to show why this is so damn special and popular, I couldn't honestly care less

Reminds of a bad ass anime It looks spectacular in a bayonetta kind of way It looks like a lot of fun to be honest, my type of game I also like the environments, very reminiscent of a post apocalyptic world that used to be full of life It conveys that sense of a large scale dystopia And cmon, what's more awesome than fighting a giant fucking mech It even PULLS a bayonetta with the 'endings'

Only thing I really hate about these anime-esque games are the dialogues This is of course super subjective, so no reason to get offended, but why do animes and to a certain extend this game have such melodramatic dialogues?? Like, no one in real life talks like that Emotions are way over the top and it breaks my immersion because it sounds like it was written by a child who thinks this is what a dramatic conversation sounds like

This is going to sound petty and nonsensical to some but when I played the demo for this and the support character came up his dialogue instantly made me think of staying away from this game That "golly gosh" embarrassed unsure of himself hero worship persona that so many sidekicks seem to have in games like this grate on me very easily LOL But I've heard way too many reviews talk this game up like it's not one to miss And considering it's on sale right now for $30 I'm gonna get it Thanks for the in depth review It partially helped me come to the decision LOL

This game is absolutely fantastic but if you have the option to purchase this on ps4 or pc get it for ps4 The pc port has many flaws and even more frame rate drops There was a sequence near the end of the game that even lowering all of the graphical settings I had to trudge through at 14 fps (multiple times because of the retelling of the story)

Thank you for being one of the few people to actually talk about the games faults Too many people list it as the greatest game ever and that it is perfection incarnate, when it does have some flaws I have only played the pc version, which had its share of troubles going to give the ps4 version an honest try before giving up though
