I remember these we're taking like late 1990s early 2K This was back in the Pentium days when we thought that chip was so bad as it would burn the house down :PbrbrSo the fan was great to reduce the temp on the heatsinks on you motherboard by increasing airflow and reducing ambient internal temps by drawing air into the case
