hmmm im thinking to try to power a regular asus gtx560 from an older FSP 400w psu which has 70 efficiency also 18A on each 12v rail but together max 29A because unlike this one's 384w it has a max of 348w on the 12v rails i know it's risky but i'd like to wait a few weeks till ordering a new one for a bigger system - thoughts anyone? @king65462 As some one that builds PC's for a living, I can tell you most people guying computers do not need more than a 400W PSU In fact, most single card gaming machines don't need more than that My 5ghz 2600K with 560 at 1Ghz only pulls 550W from the wall That's running Prime95 and Furmark at the same time And that's far more than most of the gaming rigs people buy Most will not over clock, at least not as much as I do Comment from : @cbremer83 |
