This totally normal on all new Honda’s from 2016 and up Honda leaves space between the side of the brake pads and the caliper to dissipate heat and to avoid the caliper from damaging

I have a 2017 honda civic and the brakes click as well, but only when in park And it hasn't always done it so I don't think that's supposed to happen So if anyone has any advise that would be much appreciated

Now that I've had my Chrysler for sometime the brake pedal does click but it's one of those sounds that sounds like it suppose to be there and functioning correctly The Honda did not it for one felt like you were slamming the breaks it had no travel it was either all on or nothing and the click was so delayed it sounded awful and not correct Again Honda has not impressed me in the one I had or the one my wife had People can think there a good brand but I'm not a fan

I'm dealing with Hyundai now about the same issue I have a new car and it clicks once sometimes and sometimes a few clicks in a row like pop pop pop pop Today the mechanic told me it is normal I have some doubts So I scheduled a ride in another brand new car for Monday If I hear the same thing - I will be OK , if not if will give them a hard time

I have a 2018 Chevy Impala and it’s making the same sound and also it makes a clicking noise when I apply the breaks around the gear box, the dealership said it’s normal but it rely is annoying

I also get the same clicking noise when break pedal is released, my 2018 accord touring is 3 weeks old, I took it to the dealer, and they said it's normal with the "electric brake booster", of course I'm not happy with answer, I will be contacting honda canada and will keep you guys posted

Hey guys I do have an update I went to the dealership and was advised that Honda says that this is completely normal and part of the functionality of the braking system so for what it's worth there you go if any of you guys get different answers please comment I'm curious to see what other dealerships say!

I talked to the service tech he said that a Honda rep has told him this is completely normal and a normal function of the vehicle I hope more see this video and can give there input to the situation either it is a real problem or it is normal idk but please anyone watching with the problem or any resolve that anyone gets if it is different than what I was told please comment and share your resolve to the situation
